Cancellation of trains between Landshut (Bay) Hbf and Regensburg Hbf – replacement by bus and transfer to RE 22, RE 2
RE 25 RE 23 München - Regensburg - Schwandorf - Praha / Hof
Due to works by DB InfraGO AG, from 03 Oct to 05 Oct 2025 all trains of the alex lines RE 25 and RE 23 on the route between Landshut (Bay) Hbf and Regensburg Hbf will be cancelled. For passengers between Munich Hbf and Regensburg there is the option to use the RE 22 line (ÜFEX) with a change in Landshut Hbf to alex.
In off-peak times, replacement bus service is arranged for individual trains between Neufahrn (Nby) and Regensburg Hbf. All trains between Landshut (Bay) Hbf and Munich Hbf run on the regular timetable.
TICKETS
All tickets remain valid in the replacement buses. Ticket sales in the replacement buses are not available. Please purchase your ticket in advance online via Deutsche Bahn or at a machine at the station.
CARRYING OF BICYCLES AND TRAVELING CARRIAGES Bicycles in the EV bus can be accommodated only if there is sufficient space and cannot be guaranteed. Strollers are transported to a limited extent.
ACCESSIBILITY We recommend travelers with a wheelchair or stroller to register early for the planned trip, as not every bus is accessible. Your information will be checked by the Customer Center and forwarded to the bus company. Please use the Mobility Center online form.
Please take these changes into account when planning your journey. Allow a little extra time for the replacement service and, if necessary, use earlier connections to reliably reach connecting trains.
