For groups of 21 people or more, please register at least 7 working days before the trip using the form. Our customer centre will get back to you promptly. Requests for group travel can be submitted up to three months in advance.

Regulations for Group Registrations During Planned Construction Work

During planned construction work, the transportation of groups cannot be guaranteed. Replacement bus services are often used, and their operation is not our responsibility. Our Customer Service Center reviews each request individually and provides information about possible alternatives.

Which ticket is the right one for the group?

Our customer service centre will be happy to advise you on the ticket that best suits your group. The choice depends on the size of the group, the planned route, and the level of flexibility required. We will help you find the most suitable ticket.

When is the best time for a group trip?

Passenger numbers on our Waldbahn trains have been high recently. We recommend that larger groups plan their trips from Monday to Wednesday, as passenger volumes are generally lower on these days.

Will I receive a binding confirmation for my group trip?

Our fleet is designed to meet the level of service originally ordered by the Bayerische Eisenbahngesellschaft (BEG) and cannot be expanded at short notice. In addition, platform lengths limit train length and therefore seating capacity.

Although we cannot provide a binding confirmation for a specific connection, we do everything possible to find the best solution for your group. We assess the conditions and recommend the optimal travel time to make the journey as comfortable as possible.

In some cases, additional carriages or reinforcement services can be provided, depending on available capacity, platform lengths, and the advance notice given.
