The railway companies have agreed on the joint processing of refund, reimbursement of expenses, and compensation claims. Together with the Passenger Rights Service Center, they act as “joint controllers” within the meaning of Article 26 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

For a simple and fast submission of claims, the online passenger rights claim form is available. It helps to fully capture all information required for processing.

All cases are forwarded exclusively to the Passenger Rights Service Center. Processing, including correspondence and any potential payout, is carried out solely by the Passenger Rights Service Center in accordance with data protection regulations.
