Apply for a subscription

The transferable monthly pass is the ideal option for anyone who does not need to use their ticket all the time. It can be used alternately by several people – including friends, acquaintances or neighbours.

The student monthly pass is the affordable option for school pupils, trainees and students. It is valid for all passengers up to and including 14 years of age. From the age of 15, a valid proof of eligibility (e.g. student ID, university ID, training contract or similar) must additionally be presented.

On Saturdays (until 3:00 a.m. on Sundays), one person and up to three children aged 14 and under may be taken along free of charge. Free travel is permitted in the class in which the corresponding subscription is valid. This accompanying rule does not apply to a student subscription.

For changes to your address or the area of validity, a new subscription application with the updated information must be sent to the customer centre by email or post.

We are very sorry to lose a customer. However, the subscription can be cancelled in writing at any time with six weeks’ notice to the end of the month, regardless of the payment method (annual or monthly). In the case of early termination, an additional payment may be required.

For cancellation at the regular end of the subscription period, an informal written notice sent by email or post to the Länderbahn customer centre is sufficient.
