    The subscription can start on any chosen day.
  • Submit the application by email, by post, or in person at the customer centre.
  • Once the application has been processed, the subscription card for the selected route will be sent to you.

What are the advantages of the transferable subscription?

The transferable monthly ticket is the ideal offer for everyone who does not constantly need their ticket themselves. It can be used alternately by several people – also by friends, acquaintances, or neighbors.

What subscription offer is available for students?

The student monthly ticket is the affordable offer for pupils, apprentices, and students. It is valid for all up to and including 14 years of age; from 15 years onward, the presentation of a valid eligibility proof (e.g., school ID, student ID, apprenticeship contract, or similar) is additionally required.

Can I take someone with me for free?

On Saturdays (until 3:00 a.m. on Sunday), one person and up to three children up to and including 14 years of age can be taken along. The free accompaniment is allowed in the class of carriage in which the corresponding subscription is valid. The accompaniment rule does not apply to a student subscription.

How do I request changes?

For changes to the address or the area of validity, a new subscription application with the updated information must be sent by e-mail or post to the customer center.

How do I cancel an existing subscription?

We regret the loss of a customer. However, the subscription can be canceled at any time in writing, regardless of the payment method (annual or monthly), with a notice period of six weeks to the end of the month. In the case of early cancellation, additional payment may be required.

For cancellation at the regular expiration of the subscription, a simple letter by e-mail or post to the Länderbahn customer center is sufficient.
