Reason
Train cancellations due to switch and track work by DB InfraGO AG
Timetable changes Schwandorf ⟷ Furth im Wald/Domažlice | Thursday, 15 October to Thursday, 19 November 2026
Due to switch work, trains on the RB 27 (oberpfalzbahn) line are cancelled between Schwandorf and Cham and between Furth im Wald and Domažlice. In addition, trains on the RE 25 (alex) line are cancelled between Schwandorf and Domažlice.
A rail replacement bus service will operate for the cancelled trains. Express buses will run between Schwandorf and Plzeň for direct connections to and from Prague.
Update: On 17 and 24 October 2026, the last RB 27 train from Schwandorf to Furth im Wald will also be cancelled and replaced by a bus.

Accessible Travel
The continuous use of fully accessible low-floor buses cannot be guaranteed. Travelers with reduced mobility are therefore advised to register in advance via the online form or through the nationwide Mobility Service Center hotline: +49 30 65 212 888
Bicycle and Stroller Transport
Bicycles can only be accommodated on replacement buses if there is sufficient space and cannot be guaranteed. Strollers are transported to a limited extent.
Tickets for Replacement Services
All tickets remain valid on replacement buses. However, tickets are not sold on the replacement buses. Please purchase your tickets in advance online or at the station ticket machines.
